Isabella is a travel lover who has been dreaming of traveling around the world. As a Grade 12 student from EHSS, she is an influential illustrator and dancer. This is the first chapbook on her Arts.

Imagism:
Imagism is a specific moment and picture-evoke a particular mood. When writing Imagism, precise word choices and direct treatment of a thing should always be kept in mind. The title is always the content of the piece.
A Pleasant Journey to the Museum:
Sitting in front of the painting with millions of thoughts flashing through her head. “hum, this stop should be longer than usual..”
The accent of purple:
Small eyes staring at the enormous artwork performed by hundreds of workers, she can never get enough of it.
Writing Prompts:
“Hey friend, what is that light on your body?”
“Oh friend, this light is called sunlight, coming from the space far far way above us.”
Clumps of branches reaching out their claws followed by drops of rain.
The Ballad:
- The Ballad is the narrative and lyrics of a popular story. It is often slow, sentimental, or romantic. It should be written in third person narrator, modern English and may contain dialogue.
- Incredible repetition is a line or more is repeated with additional information
- The Ballad should be in the question and answer format.
- Congruent (or consistent) diction, appropriate tone and varied vocabulary should be used.
- 14 lines
The little nighty girl:
"I had a light then,
losing it all on my own.
I had a heart then,
but the queen has been overthrown."
Reaching for the lights I have lost,
I have lost in my sleep.
The dark is too hard to beat,
I need and I am waiting for that someone-
who might be able to-
who can give me the little shine that brightens up my life.
I have a light now,
keep it all in myself.
I have a heart now,
yet to be shine through the little nighty girl's heart.
Blogs:
- Blogs most grow out of personal websites.
- They are in chronological order and people can comment.
- It contains informal links, photos and videos.
- Someones can read blogs as a journal.
- Reasons for blogging are to entertain and to inform.
- Topics are often on social issues, lifestyle, beauty, parenting, fashion, travel, food and etc.

Cherry Blossom Growth Stages:
Predicting peak bloom can be difficult, but as buds start to open, you can estimate when the flowers will bloom. Stage One: Green Colour in Buds: Cherry blossoms emerge before the leaves on the tree. The first sign of their impending arrival is fat, round green buds on the branches of the tree. Stage Two: Florets Visible: About 14 days before peak bloom, the buds swell and florets (small flowers) start to become visible. Stage Three: Extension of Florets: Approximately 12 days before peak bloom, the florets (deep pink at this stage) start to extend out of the buds. Stage Four: Peduncle Elongation: 6-10 days before peak bloom, the peduncles (flower stems) get longer and the individual blossoms can be clearly seen. Blossoms are very vulnerable to frost at this stage. Stage Five: Fluffy White: 4-6 days before peak bloom, the fluffy white Sakura blossoms begin to open. Each flower opens at a different time. Stage Six: Peak Bloom: “Peak bloom” starts when at least 70% of the blossoms are open. Once open, flowers last from 4-10 days, depending on the weather conditions. Cool, calm weather can extend the bloom period, while warm, unsettled weather can shorten it.
Film Reviews
Typically a film review can be found in the newspapers, official magazines and aggregate cites. Film reviews on sites contain the percentage or scores the critics think it deserves. The audiences can comment reviews and change the scores. Having the film name and year of the film release is crucial. A brief introduction to the film to grab the audiences attention follow by a brief plot summary with the intention of leading the readers to watch the film. The summary should include the timeline, location, narrative, cast performance.
Avengers: Endgame
Avengers: Endgame is a three hour adventure and action movie about the Thanos’ catastrophic use of Infinity Stones randomly wiped out half of the world’s population in Avengers: Infinity War. Those who are left behind are desperate to do something to bring the one they love back. The movie focuses on the remaining Avengers and their post-trauma lives. It contains a deep conclusion and reflection on loss and love, duty and honor, friendship and family.
As the last movie in the Avengers series, the ending is unexpected and heartbroken which reminds the viewers the ending of the series. Being the all time Avengers fan, this Endgame episode makes a notable impact on concluded my longings for hero movies. The movie aesthetics give me inspirations in producing my art. Overall the movie passes through a meaningful idea of loss and gain. It is a worth watching movie.
Overall Reflection:
My choice of theme of the Chapbook is my Art. These arts and topics inspired me in producing my work. My writing has improved enormously during the Writer’s Craft class. I learned how to write creatively using different styles of writing and are able to express my ideas to the readers more effectively. I am proud of the short story piece “Someone Special.” The reason why is not that is really well written, instead I think this is the proudest and biggest challenge that I took in writing. For this piece, I tried to take the role of the main character and produce an almost 2000 words piece. This is also the piece that I noticed my improvements in creative writing.
I will give 90 for my summative evaluation. I personally think the website has a pleasant design and many interesting works. I enjoyed a lot in making my first website and writing variety of pieces. I am also able to include some of my very own photographies and artworks. Overall, I had lots of fun in working on this summative and I think I have done a great job. Thank you Ms. Schwartz for this hard working and excited year! I sincerely have learned a lot!
